VIVEICA ANNOUNCES PAYMENT OF COMMERCIAL PAPER OUTSTANDINGS
New two-year, Ps. 350 million credit line contracted
Mexico City, August 20, 2009 – ViveICA, S.A de C.V., subsidiary of Empresas ICA, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV and NYSE: ICA), the largest engineering, construction and procurement company in Mexico, announces that it fully paid the Ps. 354.8 million in commercial paper (Certificados Bursatiles de Corto Plazo) which matured on August 20th.
A new Ps. 350 million two-year credit line from IXE Banco provided the resources for the payment.
ViveICA reaffirms its financial strength and ability to meet its commitments, and will be alert to more favorable market conditions to resume its commercial paper program. ViveICA is the subsidiary in charge of housing development.
