The contract was awarded through a national public bidding process. The Ps. 2,318 million contract is a fixed price, fixed term contract that includes 33 months of construction and 207 months of operation. The project includes both private investment and public contributions through FONADIN, the federal government’s infrastructure investment fund. The value of the executive project, the construction of the civil works, and the electromechanical equipment totals Ps. 2,318 million, which is expected to be included in ICA’s third quarter backlog.
