On August 14, 2007 Sigma-Aldrich issued a press release which indicated that the Board of Directors declared a $.115 per share quarterly cash dividend. The dividend is payable on September 14, 2007 to shareholders of record on August 31, 2007. This press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
