Item 8. Other Events
On January 17, 2014, Advanced Microsensors Corporation (“AMS”), a subsidiary of Plures Technologies, Inc. (the “Registrant”), furloughed its staff other than those needed to provide maintenance, pending realization of additional financing, of which there can be no assurance. In the absence of a closed financing, which the Registrant is still working towards, and as to which there can be no assurance, AMS’s senior lender has advised that in the exercise of its security interest in the assets of AMS, it has scheduled an auction of the AMS fab equipment for a date in February 2014.
