Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 8, 2010, Digital Angel Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding the January 2010 unaudited, estimated operating results of its Destron Fearing unit, a leader in the field of animal identification solutions. Revenues for the first month of the fiscal year were up over 25% when compared with January 2009, and gross profit dollars increased over 50% for the same period. The monthly net income and EBITDA figures, before corporate allocations, also showed strong improvement resulting from continued reductions in operating expenses.
