Item 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement
Executive Compensation
On July 25, 2007, Guitar Center, Inc. approved an increase in the base salary of its Chief Financial Officer, Erick Mason, from $350,000 to $367,500. The increase is effective from July 1, 2007.
