Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 9, 2015, WindStream Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s new manufacturing plant outside Hyderabad, India is on schedule to open the first week of April 2015, and that the Company has already begun shipping complete SolarMills® and component parts to the facility.
A copy of the press release that discusses this matter is filed as Exhibit 99.01 to, and incorporated by reference in, this report.
