Chemung Financial Extends Share Repurchase Plan
Chemung Financial Corporation (OTCBB:CHMG) today announced that its Board of Directors approved the extension of the current stock repurchase plan until November 16, 2012. The Plan authorizes the purchase of up to 90,000 shares of the Company’s outstanding common stock, including those purchased since the Plan’s inception, November 18, 2009. Purchases will be made from time to time on the open market or in privately negotiated transactions, and will be at the discretion of management.
Chemung Financial Corporation, headquartered in Elmira, New York, was incorporated in 1985 as the holding company for Chemung Canal Trust Company, a full service community bank with full trust powers. Established in 1833, Chemung Canal Trust Company is the oldest active independent bank in New York State.
